All signs are pointing to a great holiday season for online marketers. Once again, ecommerce is up year over year. But don't be worried if you didn't see the numbers you expected over the Black Friday/Cyber Monday shopping days. I've talked to a number of affiliates who either don't expect to see big sales for their niches until next week or who are starting to see more niche merchant sales AFTER the big deal rush as opposed to big brand names DURING the deal rush. There's still time to take advantage of a strong holiday season!

FMTC announced that they are now including SubId link building as part of the FMTC Publisher Toolkit. This is GREAT for me because I am a firm believer in using SubIds. For more information about SubIds, see my Cheat Sheet for Affilaite Network SubIds.

The AffStat 2016 Affiliate Benchmark Report is now available for free. Did you know 54% of affiliates work from home? And apparently I am in the most popular age group: 35-44. One interesting stat was how may affiliates charge fees to list advertisers on their sites. You'll have to read the report yourself to find out!
